Aerospace Engineering Solutions is an EASA Part 21J design organisation and a GCAA Part 21 DOA/181 holder. It delivers minor and major approved changes for design engineering modification programs on commercial and private jet aircraft. Its customers include airlines, leasing companies and MROs worldwide.

The company was founded in 2001 and has locations in the UK, Ireland and Spain. It has held design approval from the start, moving from UK CAA BCAR approval to JAR 21 and then to EASA Part 21J, obtained in August 2004. Its GCAA approval was obtained in July 2017.

The company works from concept through to completion. This covers scheme, design, modification, strength substantiation and certification. Its work covers cabin interiors, aircraft transitions, exterior changes, avionic changes, structural changes, research and development, and kitting and parts.

Cabin interior work covers the layout of passenger accommodations, with over 20 years of experience in passenger configurations. It also covers emergency equipment installation, soft furnishing changes, placards and markings, carpet and escape path lighting, cabin branding and seat changes, including IFE removal and installation.

The company has an EASA STC for a zero passenger configuration on Boeing 737 and 757 variants. It can design and certify composite monuments, such as dog boxes, closets, dividers and galley monuments. It also offers EASA certified interior cabin repairs for all aircraft types, including AOG situations.

Recent news covers a two class STC for the Boeing 737-8 MAX, powered seat articulation and motion systems, and cabin upgrades with IFE and ISPSS.

The production workshop has ISO 9001:2015 approval. The quality team manages the company's safety management system, quality management system and EASA design handbook, and it supports the continued DOA approval.
