ADNOC

ADNOC is an energy group based in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. It produces and markets Abu Dhabi crude oil, refined products, aviation fuel and base oils. ADNOC describes its work as providing the products, connecting the markets and strengthening the supply chains that enable global progress.

ADNOC offers four Abu Dhabi crude grades. Murban is its flagship light grade. Das, Upper Zakum and Umm Lulu are offshore grades. ADNOC's official selling prices for these grades are based on the Platts Dubai benchmark plus a differential that ADNOC announces.

Refining is at the heart of its downstream business. The group turns crude oil and condensates into fuels, base oils and specialty products. Its Ruwais Refinery is the fourth largest in the world.

ADNOC supplies aviation fuel, including Jet A-1. It says it has an established reputation for producing and supplying quality aviation fuel. Its marketing, trading, shipping and logistics network supports supply to customers around the world.

ADNOC says it has deployed 200 AI solutions across its operations, and it recently signed a partnership with OpenAI and G42. It is investing to raise crude production capacity to 5 million barrels a day by 2027. Through Fertiglobe it is the number one seaborne exporter of urea and ammonia. Through its shareholding in Masdar it has 65 GW of renewable capacity. It reports a carbon intensity of about 7 kg CO2e per barrel of oil equivalent.

XRG is ADNOC's international growth arm, with a platform of over 150 billion dollars, focused on gas, chemicals and energy solutions. ADNOC has six listed subsidiaries that cover the energy value chain. The group also lists the Petroleum Ports Authority among its entities. ADNOC says it has returned 242 billion dirhams to the UAE economy since 2018.
