Windblade LLC

Windblade LLC is a company in Solvang, California that supplies oxygen systems for pilots. It says it has served the general aviation community for over 20 years. The company is an Inogen product distributor that works exclusively in aviation.

Its main product is the AeroO2 system, which was formerly called the Inogen Aviator. It uses a Rove 6 oxygen concentrator in place of heavy oxygen cylinders. The site says the unit gives an unlimited supply of oxygen up to 18,000 feet. Masks are needed above that height. The system works with a nasal cannula and can serve one pilot or two users.

The AeroO2 package lists a Rove 6 based oxygen concentrator, a BA-500 8 cell battery, a 12/14V DC power cable, an AC power adapter, a carrying bag and an Aerocannulas kit for single and dual users. Optional items include a DC to DC converter for 24 and 28V aircraft, replacement tubeless nasal cannulas, an interconnect kit and a larger 16 cell battery for longer run time.

The company points to real use by pilots. Two pilots took fourth place in the 2026 Air Race Classic, a race of 2,744 miles, while using the AeroO2 for oxygen. A writer from KITPLANES magazine is quoted on how easy it is to use oxygen when the supply does not run out. The site also warns about hypoxia at any altitude and notes that oxygen helps pilots see better at night.
