Vogt Aero, LLC

Vogt Aero, LLC provides solutions for the replacement, modification and certification of aircraft parts and systems. It is a family owned and woman owned business in Arizona, run by Erik and Joanne Vogt. It holds FAA designations under PMA, STC, DER and OOPP protocols, which lets it produce and sell FAA approved aircraft articles eligible for installation on FAA type certified products. The company says it has worked on systems for every major US aircraft manufacturer and for more than a dozen Part 135 air carriers.

Parts coverage

PMA work is aimed at corporate aircraft owners and operators and at MROs. ATA chapters covered include placards and markings (11), electrical power (24), equipment and furnishings (25), lights (33), water and waste (38) and electrical panels (39), with other chapters evaluated as required.

Manufacturing

Through approved suppliers the company arranges metal work such as welding and brazing, sheet metal forming, laser and water jet cutting, and surface treatments. It has an FAA approved quality system and audits its next level suppliers each year.
