A&C Products

A&C Products is a manufacturing and repair company in San Antonio, Texas. It was founded in 1987 as a specialist maker of custom window shade systems for business aviation. It now runs eight capabilities under one roof and serves aircraft makers, completion centers, maintenance facilities and operators, with documentation that traces every part.

• Window shade systems in open-face manual, manual-sealed and motorized forms, with STC and PMA approved configurations for turboprops through ultra-long-range jets
• Composite panels, including T-panels, headliners, valance panels, window overlay panels and carbon fiber sheets, made by vacuum bag out-of-autoclave processing and compliant with FAR 25.853 flammability rules
• Precision parts from five HAAS CNC machines in aluminum, titanium, steel and engineering plastics, to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.001 inch
• Plug-and-play LED wash lighting for cabins, with RGB, dimmable and programmable scenes
• Thermoformed covers, lens surrounds, trim panels and enclosures
• Laser and mechanical engraving for serial numbers and traceability marks
• One-off parts and 3D printed prototypes such as cup holders, handles and medallions

Repair station

The FAA and EASA Part 145 repair station opened in 2011. It repairs window shades, composite panels, upholstery, lens assemblies, electric motors and cabin wiring. Returned parts carry an FAA 8130-3 tag, and EASA Form 1 is available for international operators. The company runs a 24 hour AOG line and keeps standing stock of shade components, lenses and motors, and the facility is about five minutes from San Antonio International Airport.
