About Tycho.AI

Tycho.AI makes autonomous intelligence for uncrewed systems. Its systems work at the edge, in GPS denied and comms degraded environments. The company was founded in the research labs of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The Voyager autonomy stack is a hardware and software system that fits on a customer's platform. It supports low altitude, high speed flight navigation and autonomous decision making. It works in dense urban areas, through smoke or fog, and over water, with or without GPS or comms.

Voyager has three named functions. SCOUT assesses battlefields, identifies threats, plans pinpoint flight paths and builds 3D maps for training and planning. SEEK uses on board perception to identify, track and engage stationary and moving threats on the ground or in the air, with no comms needed. SWARM is planned to fly low, fast and in numbers, using threat tracking and obstacle avoidance.

Halley is a Group 1 VTOL uncrewed aircraft. It was validated in counter-UAS and one-way attack demonstrations at T-REX 26-2.

The company has a US$2 million AFRL TACFI contract to advance maritime autonomy in GPS denied environments. It reports CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity certification. Its products are developed, crafted and manufactured in Cambridge.

The team brings together engineers, academics, military veterans and defense technology leaders. Tycho.AI supports autonomous innovation across the US military. Its partners include AFRL, DEVCOM, AFWERX and SOFWERX. The company also has offices in Washington, D.C., Huntsville, Alabama and Austin, Texas.
