TAE Aviation Academy

TAE Aviation Academy is a flight school at Megara Airport, west of Athens, Greece. It trains airline pilots and private pilots under EASA rules and is recognised by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. Its head of training is Captain Spyridon Gkinis.

Courses

• ATPL Integrated: 16 to 18 months, 750 hours of ground training and 207 hours of flight training, with continuous enrolment. Graduates hold a CPL with multi-engine and instrument ratings and ATPL theory.
• Modular CPL/IR(A): 8 to 14 months for pilots who already hold a PPL and 155 flying hours
• PPL(A): about 4 months, with 46.5 hours of flying
• Advanced UPRT(A): 3 days, 5 hours of theory and 3.5 hours of flying
• MCC multi-crew cooperation: 9 days, 25 hours of theory and 20 hours in an FNPT II simulator
• English language proficiency (ELP) tests
• More than 30 aviation courses in all

FAQ

What do I need to start the ATPL Integrated course?

Be at least 18, speak fluent English, hold a high school diploma with at least a 65% average, an EASA Class 1 medical and an EU passport or a type D training visa, and pass the academy's selection process.

How long does the integrated course take?

16 to 18 months.
