AAP Aviation is a crew management and aviation staffing group. The website says it is the world's first Total Crew Management provider. Its offer covers recruitment, crew management, planning and operations in one integrated package for airlines.

The company was founded in 2013. Its founder, a former airline captain and chief flight instructor, was inspired by the maritime and offshore industry to create opportunities, flexibility and safety for those who fly. The website says the group has grown from zero to over 6,000 employees.

The website says AAP Aviation has a presence in 16 or more countries and access to more than 250,000 aviation professionals. Its customers include regional and international airlines, mainly in Europe. Braathens and CityJet are among the client logos shown on the site.

Recruitment uses CREWMATCH, the group's in-house technology, to source, screen and hire aviation professionals. Training covers type ratings, recurrency and crew resource management, coordinated through a global network of approved training organisations.

Crew management covers crew administration, rostering and compliance tracking, handled locally by country teams. Aviation payroll uses PayCalc, an in-house tool that handles payment calculations such as travel expenses, roster patterns and commissions.

The group also offers operations control and planning support, and ferry flights with EASA PART NCC compliant crews for deliveries and maintenance moves. Its advisory team covers crew planning, workforce models, aviation HR, crisis management, industrial relations and quality audits. Zymfonix is the group's sister technology company.

The company places crew bases where people live, so airlines can enter new markets with a local working model. It offers pre-defined costs and fixed prices, and says it follows all employment, tax and regulatory requirements. Its stated values are responsible, team builders, friendly and always on.
