SpaceForest

SpaceForest is a Polish technology company that develops radar, rocket, electronics and microwave systems for the space, defence and security sectors. It has more than 70 specialists and works on proprietary technology developed in Poland.

Radar is one of its core areas. SpaceForest designs complete radar systems and subsystems, including RF chains, antennas, transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers and signal processing. Its HUSSAR is a lightweight, portable SAR radar for UAVs, drones and aircraft. It offers Stripmap, Spotlight, GMTI, MMTI and CCD modes, so it can image terrain and detect moving targets. These systems support surveillance, mapping and motion detection in tough conditions.

The company also does electronic design and R&D, from concept and optimisation to production of advanced devices, including space systems. Its work covers solid-state power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, frequency generators and custom RF systems. It makes high-performance filters for telecommunication and radar systems, tuned with its own AI-based software called FTS. It has also developed microwave technology for projects with the European Space Agency.

In rockets, SpaceForest has its own hybrid rocket engines and a rocket system for suborbital and supersonic flights. It also offers solutions in propulsion, tracking, telemetry and composite manufacturing.

The company runs an open call for payloads on its PERUN space missions. Customers can test their technology in real suborbital flight conditions, use microgravity and recover the experiment safely. SpaceForest offers payload qualification and full support from its R&D team. Launches are planned from Portugal, Poland and Denmark.

SpaceForest builds dual-use technology. Applications include border protection, critical infrastructure monitoring, unmanned systems, surveillance, situational awareness, defence systems and space missions. It serves customers in defence, aviation, telecommunications and space.

Its engineers combine radar, rocket, electronics and microwave skills to build complex systems. The company says this lowers technology risk and shortens development time.
