Slingshot Aerospace
Space operations intelligence, sensing and AI-driven autonomy

About Slingshot Aerospace
Slingshot Aerospace provides what it calls Space Operations Intelligence and Autonomy (SOIA), combining sensing, data fusion, simulation and AI so that space operators can move from seeing the space environment to understanding it and acting with confidence. Serving defence missions, commercial fleet operators, enterprise users, analysts and international and research partners, the company owns its sensing layer through a proprietary global sensor network of more than 200 sensors, maintains more than 50,000 spacecraft records updated daily and runs autonomous operations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Its customer support office is at 7292 Greenridge Road in Windsor, Colorado, and it featured on Fast Company's 2026 list of the companies it rates most inventive.
Platform
- Sensing: sensor-originated truth collected across space, ground and mission systems through the Slingshot Global Sensor Network, with data available alongside Space-Track.org catalogues
- Data fusion: fragmented observations transformed into real-time, decision-grade intelligence, with historical reliability and event tagging for risk modelling, financial and insurance-linked metadata, and object type, mission and operator data enriched through its Data Suite
- Simulation: a continuously updated digital space twin in which operators evaluate scenarios, rehearse decisions and understand downstream effects before acting on orbit
- Autonomy: AI agents that evaluate anomalies, timing, sequence and options, from conjunction alerts and collision avoidance to AI-driven manoeuvre planning that compares multiple plans side by side with delta-v, timeline impacts and risk profiles in near real time
- Delivery through the Portal AI interface, developer APIs for data queries, anomaly correlation and pattern-of-life modelling, full SaaS, on-premise integrations and whole-catalogue licensing for commercial and sovereign customers
Mission
Slingshot's stated mission is to empower customers with decision-grade intelligence and operational autonomy to secure space operations, protect critical assets and deliver decision and action advantage, towards a vision of persistent protection, intelligent defence and autonomous resilience in an increasingly congested and contested space domain. Its leadership includes an executive chairman and co-founder and a senior vice president for global policy and government strategy, and the company publishes space data and AI insights for the industry.
