SKYART Cabin Simulators

SkyArt makes aircraft cabin crew training simulators, defense training simulators, airplane mock-ups and aviation-themed furniture. The project started in 2010 with the idea of upcycling old airplanes and aviation parts into useful and decorative objects, and its website says it later grew from upcycled aviation furniture into certified civil aviation cabin crew simulators and then turn-key aviation facilities. The company says it is trusted by over 5,000 customers worldwide.

• Cabin crew simulators: cabin emergency evacuation trainers (CEET), door and wing-mounted emergency exit trainers, cabin service trainers (CST), fire-fighting trainers (RFFT) and virtual and augmented reality devices, with training equipment and stations
• Defence simulators: counter-terrorism and aircraft hostage rescue trainers, and static line parachute training systems and centres
• Airplane mock-ups for purchase or rental, for events, exhibitions and film productions
• Aviation furniture: refurbished aircraft seats, desks and tables, bars and credenzas, cabin units, propellers and sculptures, cabinets and trolleys, used in hotels, restaurants, bars, VIP vehicle refurbishment, offices and homes

Standards

The company states that its training devices comply with ICAO and EASA standards and are built with the features required by EASA, FAA, ICAO and IATA regulations. For defense projects it handles the whole process from concept through testing to hand-over, with its own engineering department and design studio.

Customers and projects

News items on the site include three cabin simulators ordered by Turkish Airlines, an A320 and A321 neo cabin emergency evacuation trainer for Air Astana, a training centre project with Berniq Airways, a deal signed with Mermoz Academy and a cabin service trainer for Exeter College.
