Shenzhen CIMC-Tianda Airport Support

CIMC Tianda, represented here by Shenzhen CIMC-Tianda Airport Support, is a Chinese maker of airport equipment, fire and rescue vehicles and automated logistics systems.

The company started its airport range with passenger boarding bridges. It now makes passenger boarding bridges for aircraft, ship loading bridges and visual docking guidance systems. Its news page reports that the first batch of intelligent unmanned aircraft docking systems went into operation, and the story ran on national state television in February 2026. It also supported the opening of a satellite terminal at Shenzhen Airport in 2025, where the share of flights using boarding bridges is expected to pass 90 percent.

Ground support equipment is a second line. The range includes aircraft ground air conditioning units, ground power units, apron ferry buses, loaders, transfer vehicles, catering trucks and boarding vehicles for passengers with reduced mobility. In August 2026 the company held a launch for a new deicing vehicle together with an airport equipment technology seminar.

For airports, the company also builds fire vehicles. These include the Z series airport fire truck, a commercial chassis airport fire truck and a lift rescue vehicle. Its wider fire and rescue business covers fire trucks under several brands, including Ziegler of Germany, Chuanxiao of Sichuan, Jietong of Shenyang and Jindun of Shanghai. It also supplies fire equipment and fire services.

The company offers airport baggage handling systems and systems for carry-on baggage. For air cargo, it provides automated cargo handling solutions. Its automated logistics business covers sorting, storage and warehouse systems. Products include linear and cross-belt sorters, stacker crane storage, four-way shuttle vehicles, AGVs, lifts, conveyors, automatic truck loading and depalletizing. It also offers warehouse management, warehouse control and digital twin software, along with express and e-commerce solutions.
