CEIA

CEIA S.p.A. is an Italian industrial company based in Viciomaggio, Arezzo. It designs and manufactures electromagnetic inspection systems and induction heating systems. Research, development, engineering and production are carried out entirely in-house. The company provides a worldwide assistance network and training programs for certification in the use and maintenance of its equipment.

CEIA metal detectors are widely used for security. The security range includes walk-through and portable models, with ferromagnetic detection that filters alarms for non-threat items. Applications include transportation, law enforcement, court and correctional facilities, schools and buildings, loss prevention, event security, cargo security and mailroom security.

Industrial metal detectors, such as the THS series, find metal contaminants in products. Pharmaceutical metal detectors, including the THS/PH210 series, detect contaminating metals, whether ferrous, non-ferrous or stainless steel. Industrial applications include food, pharmaceutical, textile and non-woven, and mining and plastics.

Ground search metal detectors include the CMD, CMD V2, CMD3, ALIS-RT, AMD, CWD, DSMD and MIL-D1 models. Applications include humanitarian demining, UXO clearance, underwater detection, crime scene investigation and vehicle protection. The AMD is built for professional and tactical operations and is IP68 waterproof.

Induction heating systems are designed for compact size, high energy efficiency and long-term reliability. Applications include hard brazing, tin soldering, tool brazing, heat treatment, aluminium brazing, cap sealing, warm forming, induction curing and shrink fitting. Anticollision telemeters use FM-CW radar and operate in fail-safe mode.

Healthcare detection covers ferromagnetic detectors and hand-held patient screeners. The EMC laboratory, CEIA S.p.A. LACE, works on electromagnetic compatibility and human exposure to electromagnetic fields. It is accredited to ISO 17025:2017. CEIA also holds ISO 9001 certification.
