SELF TRUST makes conveyors and conveyor belts in Romania. It works from Bucharest and Iași and also sells industrial parts such as belts, chains and motors.

The company builds many kinds of conveyor. These include belt, roller, chain, aluminium, spiral, pallet and telescopic conveyors. It also makes food industry conveyors, cooling spirals, rotary tables, gravity chutes, industrial lifts and hydraulic lifting platforms. Sorting and transfer systems called diverters are part of the range.

SELF TRUST also supplies conveyor belts. Choices include PVC and polyurethane belts, food-grade belts, belts with cleats and side walls, modular plastic belts, PTFE belts and rubber belts. It also offers special belts with accessories.

Repair and joining are a big part of the work. The company runs two belt production workshops, in Iași and Bucharest. It has two mobile teams for hot and cold vulcanising at the customer's plant, anywhere in Romania. Hot vulcanising works on PVC, PU and EP/NN rubber belts of any width. Cold vulcanising covers PVC and PU. The teams can also replace a whole belt on site and respond to urgent breakdowns. The company says a hot-joined PU belt keeps its FDA certification, which metal fasteners do not.

Mechanical joints are available too. The company keeps RS, Alligator and Flexco type fasteners in stock, for belt widths from 100 to 3,050 mm. It can fit them or ship them for self-fitting. Its workshops make flat belts up to 200 mm wide and conveyor belts up to 3,050 mm wide. These can be joined by mechanical, heat or mixed methods. The heat method uses Habasit technology.

Industrial consumables round out the range. These include drive belts such as V-belts, timing belts and poly-V belts. They also include pulleys, gears, racks, chains, motors and gearmotors, linear technology, couplings, industrial wheels, seals, Teflon and plastic parts, industrial hoses and technical rubber mats.

Customers come from many industries. They include automotive, courier and parcel, e-commerce, logistics and warehousing, retail goods, airports, meat processing, bakeries, dairies, fruit and vegetable processing, drinks bottling, chocolate making, equipment assembly, waste recycling and paper and card. The company reports over 25 years of experience in belt joining.
