Signalight (Electromax)

Signalight is the aviation lighting brand of Electromax (S.C. Electro Max S.R.L.), based in Petrosani, Romania. It designs and manufactures lighting and signalling systems for airports, heliports and obstruction marking, plus portable airfield lighting. Electromax says it was founded in 1999 and began developing airfield lighting systems in 2010.

Standards and manufacturing

Signalight says its products comply with FAA and ICAO requirements and are made in its own facility in Petrosani using OSRAM LEDs. It reports having applied ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 standards since 2008. The company says its Vista system won an Inter Airport Innovation Award in 2021 and Polaris 2.0 in 2023, both in the GSE category.
