ADELTE is an engineering group, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, that designs, builds and services passenger boarding bridges and related equipment for airports and seaports.

The group has more than six decades of experience. It has more than 500 employees who design, make and maintain boarding bridges for airports and seaports. It also has subsidiary offices and industrial contracting services in Europe, America and Asia. The company says it has installed boarding bridges in more than 150 countries. It handles turn-key projects and controls each stage of a product's life.

For airports, ADELTE makes passenger boarding bridges and preconditioned air units, known as PCA. It also offers ARCOS, a remote control operating system that lets operators run boarding bridges from afar. Another product is APRONAUT, a docking simulator used to train people to dock boarding bridges safely. The company also supplies ground support equipment and terminal solutions.

For seaports, ADELTE makes passenger boarding bridges and ARGOS gangways for cruise and ferry terminals. Recent projects include a cruise terminal in Barcelona, cruise terminals in Boston and Seattle, and Terminal 2 Pier 2 at Manchester Airport.

The Global Services unit supports equipment after it is installed. It maintains boarding bridges, preconditioned air units, ground power units and visual docking guidance systems. It also looks after baggage handling systems and potable water units. The unit can operate boarding bridges for customers and run operations and maintenance training. It offers upgrades and full refurbishment of older bridges, and it holds a large stock of spare parts for its own equipment and for other makers. Its engineers cover electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and technical support is available at any hour.
