SBG Systems
MEMS inertial navigation systems, IMUs and AHRS, made in France
About SBG Systems
SBG Systems is a French maker of inertial navigation systems. Its sensors use MEMS technology and navigation algorithms to give position, orientation and velocity data without depending on satellite signals. The products suit survey work, autonomous systems, robotics, aerospace and defense.
The IMU range uses MEMS technology and is manufactured in SBG's facility in France. Each IMU undergoes rigorous dynamic calibration over the full temperature range. AHRS units combine gyroscopes and accelerometers in a compact, low power design, and each unit is calibrated across its full operating temperature range.
Inertial navigation systems provide continuous data on position, velocity and orientation for aerospace, defense, autonomous vehicles and robotics. The new PULSE-40 OEM is a tactical grade IMU for mission critical embedded systems. OEM sensors are built to fit specific requirements, especially where space is critical.
Vehicle applications cover navigation that has to keep working in tunnels, urban canyons or GNSS denied areas. Geospatial work covers mapping, surveying and positioning, including systems for hydrographers and land surveyors. Defense applications include navigation, guidance and stabilization in GNSS denied environments, including electronic warfare.
The software suite handles setup and post processing to refine data. SBG offers integrations with PX4, Ardupilot, ROS and other platforms, and it publishes test reports that push its products to the limit.
Resources include expert led webinars on inertial technology, case studies, technical support and a news and events section. Organizations that use its sensors include Airbus, Safran, Thales, Fugro, Jan De Nul, Transdev, the US Army Corps of Engineers and MIT. Customers can reach the team for product enquiries, technical support and other requests.
