About ACTIA Aerospace
ACTIA Aerospace is a French company, part of the ACTIA Group, that designs and builds critical electronic systems for aeronautics, space and satellite communications.
The division was officially created in January 2024. It brought together all of the ACTIA Group's work in aeronautics, defence and space. That work had grown over decades. ACTIA Aerospace has about 300 employees out of the group's 3,800 staff and reported revenue of 81.7 million euros in 2025. It has three historic sites in France, at Dinard, Toulouse and Martres-Tolosane. It also works closely with ACTIA sites in Europe, the United States and Tunisia. The group itself is family-owned and has existed since 1986.
In aeronautics, the company is an electronics manufacturing services partner. It has supported the aircraft industry for over 25 years. It makes electronic boards and equipment for civil and military aircraft, including safety-critical avionics such as flight control computers. In 2008 it became the first European electronics manufacturer to gain NADCAP accreditation. Its lines work to EN 9100 and IPC A610 class 3 standards, and a clean room of ISO 7 grade is used for some production. The company can build anything from small batches to as many as 700,000 circuit boards a year.
Its manufacturing offer covers industrialisation, prototyping, test development, supply chain management and production. The supply chain team works with more than 600 suppliers and over 9,000 part numbers. Extra services include repair, after-sales support, obsolescence management and long-term storage. A new site in Toulouse adds capacity for small and medium batches.
In space, the company designs embedded electronics for all types of missions. It bought STEEL Electronique in May 2024, a French firm with deep roots in space electronics that traces back to equipment flown on Soyuz, Mir and the American shuttle.
In satellite communications, the company designs, builds and delivers turnkey ground systems. This business began in Dinard in 1972. It serves civil, private and military markets and the largest public and private players in the field.
