Saronic Technologies
Autonomous surface vessels from 24 to 180 feet, with Echelon fleet software
About Saronic Technologies
Saronic Technologies designs and builds autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) for defence and commercial maritime operations in the United States. Its stated mission is to give naval and maritime forces the most capable autonomous vessels available, improving detection, tracking and response to threats in the maritime domain. The vessels combine hardware, software and artificial intelligence, are engineered for shock loads above 15 g and have been proven over more than 100,000 nautical miles at sea. The company is growing its team and building Port Alpha, a shipyard designed to produce vessels at scale.
Vessels
- Corsair: a 24-foot ASV that carries up to 1,000 lb over 1,000 nautical miles, built for multi-mission use at scale; a Corsair carried out the first known at-sea rescue of downed pilots by an autonomous boat, in the Strait of Hormuz
- Mirage: a 52-foot ASV with 2,500 nautical miles of range and 3,500 lb of payload, intended as a force multiplier for crewed and uncrewed teams
- Marauder: a 180-foot medium unmanned surface vessel for sustained long-range missions, with a top speed above 25 knots, a range of up to 5,400 nautical miles and a modular payload capacity of 150 metric tons in four 40-foot or eight 20-foot ISO containers; Saronic has been awarded a US Navy production contract for Marauder
Echelon software
Echelon is the single command-and-control layer for all Saronic vessels, used to plan, simulate and execute missions for one vessel or an entire fleet from a browser-based interface that can run on its own or integrate with other operating software. It uses AI and cross-platform data fusion for multi-asset teaming, adaptive path planning for different sea states and digital twins to reduce risk before physical validation. The vessels have flexible architecture for mission payloads and sensors, and resilient multichannel communications with optional configurations for contested environments.
