QUALITY FLY Aviation Academy

Quality Fly Aviation Academy is an EASA flight school in Madrid, Spain. It holds Approved Training Organisation certificate E-ATO-197 from the Spanish authority AESA. The school focuses on one product, its integrated ATPL programme, which takes students with little or no experience to a frozen ATPL in about 20 months. Students come from many countries and graduates fly for airlines across the world.

Integrated ATPL programme

• EASA Commercial Pilot Licence, frozen ATPL and APS MCC certificate on completion
• APS MCC with 40 hours in an A320 or B737 Level D full flight simulator, which the school says no other integrated ATPL includes
• Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT)
• Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) approach and ICAO core competencies
• Basic gliding training and night flying in a multi-engine piston aircraft
• Unlimited access to a practice simulator
• All-inclusive pricing with a monthly payment plan, and housing solutions for students

Quality Fly is not currently offering licence conversions, revalidations or renewals. The only modular course on offer is the MCC.

• Tecnam P2006T, multi-engine piston
• Tecnam P2008, single-engine piston, VFR and IFR
• Cessna 172S, used for UPRT
• Elite FNPT II PBN advanced turboprop simulator
• Airbus A320 full flight simulator, Level D, for APS MCC

The school describes its glass-cockpit fleet as standardised and 10% over-dimensioned for the number of students.

Approvals

E-ATO-197 covers integrated and modular ATPL, PPL, ATPL theory (including distance learning), night rating, IR MEP and SEP, PBN, CPL, advanced UPRT, MCC, KSA 100 and all instructor courses (FI, IRI, CRI, MCCI).

Graduates

The school lists graduates flying as first officers at SAS, Iberia, Cathay Pacific, Ryanair, Vueling, Aer Lingus, Air Europa, Wizz Air, Binter, Trans Maldivian, SunExpress and Corendon.
