ProSim Training Solutions

ProSim Training Solutions makes training software for pilots and other aviation professionals. The company says it has built training tools since 2011. Its aim is to give airlines, flight academies and maintenance firms up to date software for training.

The first product was the ProSim737 Professional Simulator Suite. The company says its software now runs in over 300 fixed base simulator installations used by professionals around the world. At the end of 2022 it set up a joint venture with TXT Group, an Italian listed engineering software firm. Hanne Koole is named as chief executive.

The training range has four main parts. Fixed base training devices are offered for FAA Level 4 and 5 FTDs and EASA FNPT II MCC, plus FTD Level 1 and 2. FMS trainers allow flight management system practice at any time and place. ViXR is a virtual reality tool that adds a virtual instructor to a training device. Maintenance trainers extend maintenance training to devices or run on their own.

The site sorts its customers into airlines and training organizations, flight academies, maintenance organizations, academic and scientific users, training device makers and original equipment makers. It also has pages for pilot and maintenance engineer students.

The company follows a principle it calls tool to task, which means using the right training tool for each phase of training. It lists benefits such as more training time on part task trainers and flight training devices, and lower cost than full flight simulators.
