About NAASCO

NAASCO is an aircraft component repair and overhaul company in the United States. It opened its doors in April 1984 and says it has served the aviation industry for over 35 years. The company is an FAA and EASA approved repair station.

The company focuses on electrical and electromechanical parts that are costly, obsolete or troublesome to keep working. As a Part 145 Class II electrical accessory repair station, it repairs and overhauls starter generators, power relays and contactors, inverters, converters, power supplies and generator control units.

The repair list also includes lavatory and water pumps, fans, actuators, blowers, air valves, search and landing lights, strobes, dimmer controls, windshield wiper motors and landing light motor support. The company says the list keeps growing as customers ask for new solutions.

NAASCO also designs its own solutions. Two of its best known products are a starter generator ETR/Mercury Mod and the Sil-Met contact, relay and terminal block solutions. The Sil-Met work began with FedEx on the Boeing 727 fleet in 1988. The company also offers PMA manufacturing and PMA engineering services.

Trend monitoring programs track starter generators, motors, relays and contactors. The company's engineers collect data to find the root cause of repeat problems. This helps improve reliability over the life of the part.

Customers can buy outright or use the exchange program, which includes stock with full warranty and traceability. Consignment inventory management, repair and overhaul management and 24 hour AOG service are also offered. The company says its customers include corporate, regional and major airlines, helicopter operators, law enforcement and government agencies, distributors and other repair stations.

The shop can be browsed by helicopter, turboprop, light jet, heavy jet and military aircraft.
