About Myriel Aviation

Myriel Aviation builds aeronautical navigation data and automated chart tools from its headquarters in Monaco. It uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to turn raw aviation data into navigation databases and charts. Its customers are airlines, air navigation service providers, aircraft makers, avionics makers and regulators.

The company produces ARINC 424 aeronautical navigation databases. It also generates IFR and VFR charts that update with each AIRAC cycle. These include airport diagrams, approach charts such as SID and STAR, en-route charts and terminal charts. It makes ICAO charts at 1:500,000, 1:250,000 and 1:1,000,000 scale, in print-ready and digital formats. Charts can be customised to the user.

Myriel says its automated workflow cuts manual tasks by 80 percent and costs by a factor of six. It reports that chart production time drops from 12 weeks to under 10 hours. The system merges data from many sources, including AIP, NOTAM, terrain, obstacles and ortho imagery. Its database holds more than 37,000 airports, 18,000 heliports, 340,000 procedure legs and over one million obstacles.

The company also offers tools to analyse, validate and improve data. These include computer-vision checks and smart discrepancy detection. Back-office tools are built for air navigation service providers and national aviation authorities. Data and tools connect with airline and OEM systems through APIs, export formats and custom modules.

Myriel also runs Airmate, an electronic flight bag for flight planning, navigation and pilot collaboration. The company says more than 300,000 pilots use it. Its partners include Dynon Avionics, Air Million and the French DGAC and SIA. The company says its software is built on 9 years of research and development and 3 million euros of investment.

Myriel is working toward EASA DAT certification and plans to grow in Europe, North America and the Middle East. It offers licensing per aircraft for airlines and business aviation.
