MERGEN

MERGEN GmbH is a German industrial engineering and service company based in Olzheim in the Eifel region. It builds special purpose machines, automation systems and mobile elevated work platforms, and provides assembly, maintenance and repair of industrial and crane systems. A second site in Pruem offers CNC machining services, surface treatment and assemblies. The company says more than 500 customers worldwide work with its team.

History

The business was founded as CTI-Service on 14 July 2017 by Marco Mergen in Olzheim, specialising in assembly, maintenance and repair of industrial and crane systems before expanding into special machine construction for fully automated plants. It later opened an additional plant in Bad Schussenried, expanded the special machine division and moved into a new 2,300 square metre company building. In 2021 Marco Mergen founded MERGEN GmbH and MERGEN SARL, which took over the business areas of CTI-Service in January 2022; CTI-Service continues as a company. Before founding the business, Marco Mergen held management positions in special purpose machinery and crane systems, including head of after sales and installation at an international company.
