Leaf Space offers a global network of ground stations for satellite communication, with scalable solutions for all mission sizes. The company says it enables satellite operators to connect, control and scale missions through a fully managed connectivity platform that combines owned and operated ground stations, TT&C services, payload data delivery, automated scheduling and mission operations support. Its aim is to simplify ground segment management and accelerate mission deployment.

• Leaf Line: Ground Segment as a Service using a fully owned and operated global network of ground stations, with all-inclusive per-minute pricing; it handles telemetry, tracking and command as well as the reception and transmission of payload data. More than half of the operations it supports are for missions from the United States
• Hosted ground station services, and access to the ground station network with a published network and deployment plan
• TreeNet: an always-on connectivity solution that links satellites and ground infrastructure into a federated mesh network, so that operators can reach their satellites in real time instead of waiting for scheduled contact windows
• TreeNodes, which let satellites communicate directly with each other and with the Leaf Line network
• Multiple booking models tailored to different mission and operational needs

The problem it addresses

Leaf Space notes that most LEO satellites are in contact with the ground only about 10% of the time, which causes delays, inefficiency and scalability limits. TreeNet is intended to remove these constraints by enabling continuous communication.
