About Exolaunch
Exolaunch arranges and manages satellite launches. It also builds the hardware that releases satellites from rockets. The company is headquartered in Germany and has expanded to the US and France. It operates worldwide and delivers hardware and customer satellites to launch sites across the globe.
Mission management covers launch planning, mission analysis and launch schedule coordination. The team develops Interface Control Documents and helps customers meet legal, regulatory and insurance requirements. The company listens to each customer's needs and builds a launch solution for each mission.
Testing is a core service. Exolaunch runs environmental testing at its certified test facility in Berlin, and customers can use its Berlin cleanroom for satellite checkouts. The company drafts test plans based on each satellite's design, mission parameters and launch vehicle. Its tests include vibration testing and qualification and acceptance tests.
Logistics and customs clearance services move payloads, launch hardware and ground support equipment to launch sites all over the globe. Integration services connect a satellite to its launch vehicle using Exolaunch deployment hardware. The launch service covers the moment the rocket leaves Earth and deploys the satellite into its target orbit.
The hardware line includes the EXOpod Nova CubeSat deployer, the Carbonix and Carbonix NEO microsatellite separation systems, and the Quadro Arrow, Quadro Versa and Quadro FleX separation systems. Quadro FleX is listed as a new product for satellites up to 1,000 kilograms. The company also makes the EXOport, EXOtube and EXObox products. The company says its deployment hardware has a 100% reliability rate, and customers can buy it with launch services or on its own.
The company has completed 80 missions. Transporter-18 was its 50th mission, and it deployed 46 customer satellites. Bandwagon-5 was its 51st mission. Its launch manifest lists US missions from February 2027 to December 2028, with the first one fully booked. Target orbits are listed as 500 to 600 km.
Exolaunch has flight heritage on Falcon Heavy, Falcon 9, Ariane 6, PSLV, Vega and Electron rockets. Its launch partners include SpaceX, Arianespace, New Space India, Rocket Lab, PLD Space, Firefly Aerospace, Isar Aerospace, Rocket Factory Augsburg, HyImpulse and Gilmour Aerospace. The company says it serves over 80% of current commercial smallsat operators. Its government customers include NASA, DLR and CNES, and it says over 95% of its customers reuse its services.
