KF Aerospace

KF Aerospace provides aircraft maintenance, engineering and air cargo services. It was founded in 1970 as Kelowna Flightcraft Ltd. The company is headquartered in Kelowna, British Columbia, and has about 1,200 staff.

KF Maintenance and Engineering is a commercial maintenance, repair and overhaul provider. The company completes about 1,000,000 maintenance hours a year on more than 300 projects. It has facilities in Kelowna and Vancouver, British Columbia, and in Hamilton, Ontario.

Its shops offer manufacturing, landing gear, plating, component, NDT, avionics and composite work. KF also handles engineering and major modifications for commercial and military air operators.

KF Cargo runs an air cargo feeder network in British Columbia for Purolator Canada, using ATR aircraft. The company reports 99% fleet on-time dispatch reliability. Its leasing offer covers five aircraft types for cargo, passenger and specialized operations.

KF Defence Programs has supported the Royal Canadian Air Force since 2005. Its work covers pilot selection, basic and advanced pilot training, and in-service support at Southport, Manitoba. KF is a founding partner of SkyAlyne, which provides aircrew training for the RCAF. The company says it has supported Canada's military for over 30 years.

KF holds an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and is the type certificate holder for the Convair aircraft. It is also a Transport Canada Design Approval Organization and a Recognized Maintenance Organization for the Canadian Department of National Defence. It is a Maintenance Training Organization as well.

KF has restored aircraft as well as flying them. Its featured projects include the restoration of a Hawker Tempest II. The company has also published a 2025 to 2026 annual review.
