ISP System

ISP System is a French company specialising in precision mechatronics since 1997. It designs micro and nano-positioning systems, opto-mechanics, onboard actuators and robotics, and today serves aerospace, defence, science and medtech, rail and industrial process markets. The group was founded by Paul, Corinne and Franck Sauvageot, and the first premises with a workshop opened at Bazet two years after the company was created, with 10 employees, engineers and technicians.

History

• The second site, ISP Aquitaine, was opened to form the ISP System group; its teams design test and control systems and develop robotic programming software
• In Vic-en-Bigorre (2003) the company built larger premises with design offices and an assembly hall of more than 800 square metres
• Its know-how has been recognised by the France 2030 programme in two calls for projects on research and innovation

Technologies and products

• Custom design and integration of precision mechatronic systems
• Planetary, hypoid or harmonic gearboxes, high-ratio reducers, ball or roller linear screws and low-backlash transmissions
• Electrical continuity guaranteed through the mechanics, with separation of power and signal pins
• Radial or axial magnetic components with low thermal sensitivity, and integrated or bistable safety brakes
• Current, speed and position loop control
• Dynamic shaft seals for harsh environments and flat polymer static seals that resist high-pressure cleaning
• Design examples for positioning and aligning with high precision, and machines, actuators and mirrors designed, built and wired in house

Services

Because ISP System designs and builds its own machines, it also maintains them, travelling to customers for installation and maintenance, and it offers industrial process consulting. It devotes part of its activity to R&D.

ISP System appears in the exhibitor lists of Airtec, Euronaval, Space Tech Expo Europe and the Paris Air Show.
