IAG Cargo

Air cargo across British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling and LEVEL

About IAG Cargo

IAG Cargo is the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), combining the bellyhold capacity of British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling and LEVEL to manage the cargo space of more than 500 widebody and narrowbody aircraft across a global network. It was formed from the merger of British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo after IAG was created, later absorbing Aer Lingus Cargo and adding Vueling's European narrowbody network and LEVEL's long-haul services from Barcelona. Customers book, track and manage shipments through its eBooking platform, flight schedule search and air waybill tracking, and are encouraged to submit documentation digitally for faster acceptance.

History

IAG Cargo traces its roots to the first international scheduled flight from London to Paris by Aircraft Transport and Travel in 1919, which carried Devonshire cream, newspapers, grouse and jam, the first Aer Lingus flight from Baldonnel to Bristol in 1936 with a parcel of newspapers, and the first express shipment flown on Concorde from London to New York. British Airways World Cargo operated Boeing 747-8 freighters, and during the pandemic IAG Cargo flew cargo-only flights on passenger aircraft to keep food and medical supplies moving.
