Hillsboro Aero Academy

Hillsboro Aero Academy is an aviation training school in the Pacific Northwest. It trains airplane pilots, helicopter pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians. The site says the school began four decades ago with a single aircraft. Its website also describes a community of students and alumni across the globe.

The school offers airplane pilot training, with courses that are FAA and EASA approved. Its helicopter pilot training school prepares students for search and rescue, firefighting, film work and utility flying in remote areas. The site also lists career paths, degree programs for flight training, and a webinar for registration.

The school has launched an aviation maintenance program. It trains students to become certified A and P mechanics. The site says the school has an on-site repair station and a safety program. The site says Avincis operates a fleet of more than 220 aircraft across its group.

The school says pilots from more than 75 countries have started their careers there. The site says graduates fly for airlines and helicopter operators across the globe.
