About HEMERIA
HeliOps Magazine is an aviation publication focused on helicopter operations. The website is published by KiaKaha Media Ltd. It brings together four regular titles, along with special editions, covering different parts of the helicopter world.
The main title is HeliOps, which covers helicopter operations. The other titles are Carpe Noctem, Air Attack and Antares. Each title has its own edition, and readers can browse the latest issue of each. Back issues are available for every magazine.
The site carries latest news and featured articles across the titles. It also runs a photos of the week feature and a photo competition. Readers can download free wallpapers and monthly calendars in 1920 by 1080 format.
The publication speaks to helicopter pilots, engineers, operators and enthusiasts. It aims for operational coverage rather than general aviation news. Coverage includes aerial firefighting, air ambulance and HEMS operations, military helicopters and training.
The jobs board lists positions from helicopter operators. Recent listings include HSEQ, pilot, mechanic and chief pilot roles in several countries. Employers in the listings include Avincis, Heli-1 Corporation and NorthStar Helicopters. Employers must register an account to apply.
The shop sells issues and products, and readers can follow the magazine on Facebook, X, YouTube and Instagram. The site notes copyright for 2026. Recent stories cover Scotland's air ambulance first year in service, in which the Helimed 79 H145 D3 flew 271 responses, and an EASA approved lithium battery upgrade for EC135 models. Other news covers the activation of SPACEFOR-SOC at MacDill Air Force Base and a Robinson Unmanned delivery of UAS to the Nepali Army. Back issues are available for each title. The latest issues are HeliOps 164, Carpe Noctem 3, Air Attack 47 and Antares 28, with four special editions. It does not list a general telephone number or a publisher email on the website.
