CMJ Test Systems is a French manufacturer of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical test equipment for the aerospace industry, based at ZA Lafourcade Nord in Gimont, Gers, between Toulouse and Auch. Founded by five friends with complementary aerospace backgrounds after a long analysis of aerospace test means and market trends, the company supplies turnkey test benches to civil, military and business jet customers, including aerospace OEMs, airlines and maintenance, repair and overhaul companies, for research and development rigs, production acceptance test stands and MRO test facilities, and supports each bench from the early stages of development through implementation, acceptance and the rest of its life cycle.

Test capabilities

• Hydraulic test means managing fluids such as kerosene, oil, Skydrol, water and hydrogen, with solutions for pressure testing from 0 to 5,000 bar, flow from 0 to 25,000 litres per hour and temperatures from -260 to +250 degrees Celsius, including ATEX environments managed in line with labour and safety regulations
• Pneumatic test means using air, nitrogen, hydrogen and other gases, covering leak, cycling and burst tests
• Mechanical test means addressing static and dynamic resistance, interfacing systems, damage and fatigue, with additional tooling developed and manufactured so components can be tested easily
• Automation on platforms from National Instruments (LabVIEW), Siemens (S7, TIA), Schneider (PL7, Unity Pro, SoMachine), GE Fanuc, Omron and Siemens PCS7, either fully customised from scratch, built on the customer's platform or co-developed with a preferred subcontractor
