GRP Iluminación (GRP Airport System)

GRP Iluminación, S.A.U. trades as GRP Airport System and works in airfield ground lighting (AGL) from Alcobendas, Madrid. The company says it was created in 2002 by professionals with experience in technical lighting and control systems. It started by supplying AGL solutions, technical support and turnkey projects, and later began developing and manufacturing its own products.

Smart Airfield

GRP says its patented powerline carrier communication technology uses the existing AGL primary cables to link and power sensors on the airfield. It was first designed for single lamp control and monitoring and is presented as the basis of a digitalised, or smart, airfield.
