About Glennair Training Centre

Glennair Training Centre provides approved maintenance type training for licensed aircraft engineers and aviation technicians. It describes its courses as UK CAA, EASA and Part 147 approved. The company was set up in Norwich in 1980 as a family run business and says it is still independent.

Courses cover fixed wing and rotary aircraft. Licence types named are B1, B2, B1/B2 combined and Cat C, along with general familiarisation. The site says it has trained hundreds of aviation professionals worldwide in over four decades.

Most training is held at customer premises with the right aviation authority facility approval, which the company says can cost less. Courses can be held in the place the customer prefers. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it has also run a virtual classroom for online and distance learning. Course materials are made in house by its design team.

Scheduled courses on the home page include the Cessna 510 from 26 October to 20 November 2026, the Cessna 560XL and XLS from 26 October to 27 November 2026, and the Beech 200 with PWC PT6 engines from 2 November to 4 December 2026. These are for B1 and B2 licences with EASA and UK CAA certificates.

The training centre and offices are at the Business Aviation Centre at Norwich International Airport. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm. The company aims to answer every enquiry within one working day, and the site has an enquiry form and a careers page.

News posts say Glennair exhibited at AERO Friedrichshafen in 2025 and plans to exhibit there in April 2026. It also exhibited at European Rotors in Cologne in November 2025.
