Geven Seating

Geven is an Italian company that makes aircraft passenger seats and cabin interiors. It began with upholstery for the automotive sector, moved into train and marine seating, and took its first aircraft seat orders at the end of the 1990s. Early aircraft work was retrofit seating, which is how a supplier enters the approved vendor lists of airframe makers. In 2006 the company moved to a new plant about 20 km from Naples. Today the covered plant area is about 110,000 square metres.

• Economy seats, including the Essenza and Neo Prestige models, the latter styled by Giugiaro
• Seats for regional aircraft, with long experience as baseline seat supplier for the ATR family
• Business and premium economy seats for narrow body and wide body aircraft, for pitches of 37 to 45 inches

• Quality system developed to ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100, with EASA and ENAC approvals listed
• Named customers on its site include Lufthansa Group, which selected Essenza seats in April 2026, and Wizz Air, which chose the Eva seat for its A321neo fleet
• Takes part in the CASTLE project on human centred cabin interior design
