Technology
GMS says it is technology independent: it picks the processor that gives the best performance for the size and power needed, and has used more than 40 CPU technologies since 1979. Its current designs use Intel processors with a guaranteed availability of at least seven years, to support long program lifecycles. Products use the company's RuggedCool cooling technology, sealed enclosures and security features such as tamper sensors. Hardware, software and driver development are done in-house.
Military and aerospace programs
GMS lists airborne, ground vehicle and shipboard programs on its site. Airborne examples include the Wedgetail workstation program, the Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft, the Joint Strike Fighter, the BAMS maritime surveillance UAV and Seahawk applications.
