FTugs Equipamentos

FTugs is a Brazilian manufacturer of electric aircraft tugs based at Avenida Alexandre Rizzo 519 in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. Its remote-controlled tugs are designed and built in Brazil and adapt to different aircraft models according to weight and nose gear size, allowing a single operator to tow and position aircraft with precision and safety in hangars, aprons and parking areas. All models feature Lazy Susan technology, which gives 360-degree rotation for precise manoeuvres with full directional control, a quiet and economical all-electric motor, headlights and a rotating beacon for night operations, two lockable compartments for the remote control and cables, a one-year warranty with technical support, and optional customisation in the colours and logo of the customer's hangar.

Models

• FT1: for aircraft with nose wheel fairings, capacity about 1.2 tonnes (2,700 lb)
• FT3: for piston aircraft, light turboprops and helicopters with wheeled landing gear, capacity about 3.6 tonnes (8,000 lb)
• FT8: for piston aircraft, light and medium turboprops and helicopters with wheeled gear, capacity about 8 tonnes (18,000 lb)
• FT10 and FT15: larger models for heavier aircraft, with the FT15 rated at about 33,000 lb
• Helicopter Lift accessory: a quick, secure connection system for towing helicopters with skid landing gear, compatible with the Robinson R22, R44 and R66 and with the FT3 and FT8 tugs
