A&P Mechanic Institute

A&P Mechanic Institute is an aviation mechanic school in Lakeland, Florida. It trains students to earn their FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification. The school says it is approved by the FAA under Part 147 to give official A&P training.

The school helps with careers after graduation. It says it helps set up interviews with flight schools in the Southeast and connects graduates with partner flight schools and maintenance employers. Career paths named by the school include aircraft maintenance technician, engine or powerplant technician, avionics technician and flight school operations. Graduates can also work as theme park technicians.
