Florida Aviation Network

Florida Aviation Network, also called FAN, is a satellite broadcast system that promotes aviation and aviation safety. It uses an In the Clear satellite feed. The programs are shown live and pre-recorded through the National Aviation Safety Foundation, a nonprofit group. The anchor desk is in Orlando, Florida, and the network carries aviation events from across the United States.

The site groups its programs into three areas. These are aviation and aviation safety, careers in aviation and production, and education and training. The network says its education and training are offered to the public at no cost.

FAN depends on donations and sponsors. Year-round sponsors cover its basic costs, but the site says this is not enough for all events. The National Aviation Safety Foundation is registered as an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations are tax deductible.

Supporters can give at several levels. Become a Fan is 25 dollars and brings recognition on social media. Join the Crew is 50 dollars. Be a Member is 100 dollars. Supporter FAN is 250 dollars. Sponsor FAN is 500 dollars and adds a listing on the FAN website. Gold Sponsor is 1,000 dollars. Production Sponsor is 2,000 dollars and Platinum Sponsor is 5,000 dollars, with year-round video and broadcast recognition at the higher levels.

The home page has buttons to volunteer and to become a sponsor. The contact page has a message form, a phone number and an Orlando address.
