About European Space Imaging

European Space Imaging, known as EUSI, is based in Munich, Germany. The company was established in 2002. It is a premium supplier of very high resolution satellite imagery and Earth observation services. Its customers are in Europe and North Africa.

Through a longstanding partnership with Vantor, the company was the first European company to bring 30 cm resolution satellite imagery to the EU market. The company calls itself the longest and most trusted EU provider of true 30 cm resolution imagery.

The company works with the WorldView constellation through its ground station at the German Aerospace Center, DLR, near Munich. This allows direct satellite tasking and local data downlink. The company says it can deliver urgent imagery as little as 15 minutes after collection.

The archive holds billions of square kilometers of satellite imagery from more than two decades. Imagery is available at resolutions from 30 cm to 1 meter, with a combined daily revisit of close to 10 times a day. The sensors cover panchromatic, multispectral, hyperspectral and video imagery.

Products include the 15 cm HD service, which uses Vantor technology on native 30 cm data. The DoubleShot service combines optical and SAR tasking with Umbra. The company also offers mapping for infrastructure, transportation and emergency response, digital elevation models, 3D visualizations, and software and analytics.

Industries served include maritime, agriculture and forestry, defence and intelligence, energy, civil government, education and research, emergency management, architecture, engineering and construction, and urban planning.

The company history includes a 2010 WorldView Global Alliance with Vantor and Space Imaging Middle East. A 2016 investment in the antenna at the Munich ground station gave direct uplink and downlink to all WorldView satellites. In 2020 the company formed a strategic partnership with Ecopia.AI. Its values are customer focus, reliability, integrity and quality.
