About Elixir Aircraft

Elixir Aircraft builds the Elixir, a fourth generation Part-23 light aircraft. The aircraft is designed for flight training from ab-initio to CPL, for flying clubs and for private owners. The company says the Elixir is the first aircraft designed entirely for ATO and FTO requirements.

The company says the Elixir has an operating cost of 50 to 60 euros or dollars per hour, covering fuel, insurance and maintenance. It also says the Elixir is close to 70% more fuel efficient than the vast majority of certified aircraft to date. Its versatility covers training missions and personal travel.

The Elixir is EASA CS-23 certified and CAA certified. The site also lists FAA Part-23 certification. Safety and certification are presented as the core of the aircraft's appeal for general aviation.

In July 2026 Elixir Aircraft and Turbotech launched the Elixir Turbine Industrial Program. The company also unveiled an expanded product lineup that month. At AirVenture 2026 it announced its first customer deliveries in the United States, after a North Atlantic ferry flight.

Customers named on the website include Aéroclub du Brocard, a flying club, and EGNATIA AVIATION, which ordered 12 Elixir aircraft. One private customer praised the after-sales service, saying only four working days passed between a service bulletin and the release of the aircraft from the workshop.
