About Elix Systems

Elix Systems is a Swiss company that makes rugged computers for AI at the edge. Its products serve the aerospace, defence and medical industries. The company was created in 2020 by an engineering team with a passion for autonomous flying vehicles.

Its computing solutions are designed for low size, weight and power, with high performance. The company says they suit all categories of aircraft, fixed-wing or rotary wing, unmanned or manned, small to large. It also offers ready-made certifiable IP cores that can be added to a customer system, to save development time and cost. For avionics projects, it provides tools and services from project kick-off to first production.

The team has a background in video processing, security and human machine interface. The core team in Switzerland has 18 members, including four experienced executives. A near-shore site in Serbia has 20 professionals and focuses on engineering and technical workshops. The company also works with expert partners and manufacturing partners across Europe. Technology partners are based in Switzerland, France, Sweden, Ukraine, Serbia and Israel.

The Swiss team holds ISO 9001 and EN 9100 certifications. The site in Serbia has held ISO 9001 certification since 2020.

The website has a contact form and a Swiss phone number. It invites aerospace, defence and medical firms to get in touch to discuss their projects.
