D-Orbit Space, Inc. is the United States company in the D-Orbit group. It is a Delaware C-Corp based in Boulder, Colorado. The company describes itself as an American satellite prime contractor that offers in-orbit logistics services.

The company offers four main services. Deorbit as a service removes end-of-life satellites. Life extension adds working years to satellites already in orbit. Repositioning moves a spacecraft to a new slot, plane or altitude. Inspection gives close-range imaging of a satellite. The site says the company can also find, dock with, hold and move satellites that were never designed for those tasks.

The company holds a $24 million award from the Defense Innovation Unit and the Space Development Agency to deliver Deorbit as a Service. It is the prime contractor on that effort. The site says the company performs the design, spacecraft, space tug, platform, assembly, integration and test, and mission operations in house.

The company also offers payload hosting and rideshare on the ION platform. Three ION carriers are at its Boulder facility. The site says American payloads are integrated onto ION in a Boulder clean room before shipment to the launch site. The D-Orbit group has flown 23 orbital transportation missions.

The site says avionics and flight software are built in Boulder, along with U.S. star trackers and RPO imaging. It states that the supply chain is predominantly American. The Boulder facility includes a clean room.

Leaders named on the site include Mike Cassidy as chief executive officer and Mark Krebs as chief technology officer. Mike Kaplan is vice president of business development. The D-Orbit group has raised more than $200 million since 2024. The contact page asks for the mission and the date it must be met. The site names TransAstra and Falcon ExoDynamics as mission partners.
