Croowy is a technology company in Germany that helps airlines manage hotels, transport and meals for their crews and passengers. It is based in Frankfurt.

The company links airlines directly with hotels and transport firms. It wants to remove middlemen and the high commissions that come with them. Its platform uses automation and AI, and its support team is available around the clock. Airlines are its main customers. Hotels, hotel groups, transport firms and food and drink voucher suppliers are its partners.

Croowy says it can reach 1.2 million hotels and book 80,000 of them directly. It also works with thousands of transport companies.

Its first service is RFPs and tendering. Airlines send requests for proposals to hotels and transport firms for crew or passenger needs. Hotels reply with rate ranges for different crew sizes. Airlines then ask for real quotes and keep full control of rates, terms and policies. Each RFP is stored for audits.

The second service is crew accommodation, often called HOTAC. Croowy links to an airline's crew management and rostering systems. Once a roster is final, the system shows the room demand for the whole month. It then matches and sends room requests to hotels using the airline's own rules. If a hotel refuses a booking or does not answer, the system moves the rooms to another hotel. Crew members get updates and itineraries through an app and WhatsApp. A dashboard tracks hotel performance, service levels and crew feedback.

The third service helps with disrupted flights. Airlines can book hotel rooms, transport and food and drink on demand for stranded passengers. Croowy also handles staff travel for business and leisure. It covers the work from tendering to booking, invoicing and reconciliation.

Hotels can use the platform to show off a single property or a whole portfolio to airlines. Croowy's founders bring more than 60 years of hospitality experience and over three decades in IT. The company takes part in the ESA Business Incubation Centre Hessen.
