Cistelaier

Cistelaier is an Italian manufacturer of printed circuit boards, in business since 1976 and based in Modena. It is part of the PCB Division of the Finmasi Group together with Techci, which has made circuit boards since 1983, and EPN, which has done so since 1992. The three European manufacturers combine more than 100 years of experience and, according to the website, one of the most significant production capacities in Europe.

Engineers support customers from the design stage to optimise a board for manufacturing and later assembly, and a fast-delivery service covers the path from prototype to mass production volumes.

Markets

Cistelaier says it is accredited for all critical market sectors and supplies boards for flight systems, ground devices and marine applications. Techci is in the Rhone-Alpes region of France, which the company calls the European cradle of technology for the aerospace and civil avionics sectors, and the largest part of its turnover comes from these sectors. EPN is in Thuringia, Germany, joined the division in January 2019 and makes double-sided and multi-layer boards.

Space qualification

The company announced that it has been qualified by ESA, and that it would exhibit at Space Tech Expo Europe 2026 in Bremen from 18 to 20 November as one of the few European circuit board manufacturers with this qualification.
