Chihuahua State Government

Invest in Chihuahua is the investment promotion office of the Government of the State of Chihuahua, Mexico. It presents the state as the logical choice for operating in the USMCA region, with five border crossings to the United States.

The state reports 1.066 billion USD in foreign direct investment received in 2025, and 58 industrial parks. It ranks third in Mexico for IMMEX export manufacturers and second for IMMEX manufacturing employment. The state describes a union free industrial base and a pro business culture built over more than 60 years.

The talent pool includes more than 6,000 engineering graduates a year. The state says 35 percent of students study STEM subjects and 90 percent of industry engineers and technicians are local. It counts 69 universities and 65 technical and vocational institutions.

Target industries include aerospace, automotive, electrical and electronics, and medical devices. Aerospace is one of the state's priority sectors, and the state works with a local aerospace cluster. Other partner clusters cover automotive and IT.

Recent news covers the state's presence at Computex 2026, a visit by Marposs executives exploring opportunities in the state, and an investment seminar in May 2026 that strengthened ties with partners.
