Calgary Economic Development is the economic development agency for Calgary, Alberta, in Canada. It works to position the city for long-term economic success. It helps established businesses find new markets and new talent. It also promotes Calgary to firms that want to open new offices there.

The agency describes its mission as making Calgary the city of choice for big thinkers and entrepreneurs. It tells the city's story to the world and highlights the projects that fuel growth. Its services cover three main areas. The real estate service offers site selection, data and insights, links to local brokers and help with permits and licences. The talent service offers data, help with immigration and connections to the city's talent pool through its innovation ecosystem and post-secondary schools. The global trade service offers export help, including trade missions, export-focused learning and market access. A Trade Accelerator Program and a program called Level Up sit under its services.

Aerospace is one of its key industries. The agency promotes Calgary's aviation hub as a place to test, manufacture and operate. It has a business development manager for aerospace. Its other key industries are agribusiness, defence, digital and creative, film and television, energy and environment, financial services, health and life sciences, technology, and transportation and logistics.

The agency points to several strengths of the city. A 2025 CBRE report ranked Calgary as the fastest-growing tech hub in North America. Startup Genome valued the startup ecosystem at 6.7 billion dollars in 2025. Calgary has the highest per capita concentration of head offices in Canada. It also has the lowest corporate income tax rate in Canada.
