Center Air Pilot Academy

Center Air Pilot Academy, known as CAPA, is a flight school based in Denmark. Its facilities are located at Roskilde Airport. The school trains pilots for professional careers in the international aviation industry. The website states that it is the largest flight school in Denmark.

The school offers an integrated pilot course that takes two years to complete. The program combines classroom theory with practical flight training. Students finish their studies with a simulator course before they apply for their first pilot job. The goal is to prepare students for employment with airlines. The school also provides an MPL route that offers a direct path to airline work with SAS.

CAPA operates a fleet of Tecnam aircraft that were bought and produced in 2022. The website states that these planes are equipped with modern technology and up to date equipment. The school also uses B737 and A320 flight simulators for training. The campus environment is designed to support education and to help students build a social network with future colleagues.

The academy holds information meetings at its Roskilde Airport facilities on the first Wednesday of each month at 15:00. Each meeting lasts about two hours. The first hour covers general information about the pilot course. The second hour gives attendees a trial session in the B737 or A320 flight simulator. Applicants must pass an internal entrance test before they can start the pilot course.

The website includes pages that explain how to become a pilot with several airlines. These partners include SAS, Air Greenland, Jettime, and Norwegian. The school also offers help with financing pilot training. Additional programs and options listed include an aviation camp, an aviation day, and gift cards for flight experiences.

The site provides content in both Danish and English. It also includes pages about the future of pilot jobs and current openings for flight instructors. The school maintains social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for prospective students and alumni.
