CASTINGPAR

CastingPar Group is a precision casting company headquartered in Seneffe, Belgium. It makes investment and sand castings in stainless steel, carbon steel and titanium. Its parts serve aerospace, defence and other demanding industries. The company has specialised in steel and titanium precision castings for 70 years.

The group works through several companies. Precimetal is the carbon steel and stainless steel foundry in Seneffe. Settas, in Charleroi, Belgium, makes titanium castings. MPO handles machining and assembly in all alloys, and it is based in France. The group offers castings from small to very large parts, in high or low volumes.

Settas works with titanium alloys, titanium palladium alloys and zirconium. It can cast parts up to 468 kg. Investment castings can be up to 1.2 metres, and sand castings up to 2.6 metres. Its processes include centrifugal pouring, vacuum heat treatment and hipping, and rapid prototyping.

Precimetal casts carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloys and air melted superalloys. Parts range from 1 gram to 30 kg. The foundry has a production capacity of up to 6,000 kg per day. It offers heat and surface treatments, and its inspection work covers penetrant testing, magnetoscopy and X-ray.

MPO machines titanium, superalloys, steel, stainless steel and aluminium. It offers milling and turning up to 100 by 400 by 400 mm. Its processes include machining bars, forging, casting, assembly and sub-assembly testing. Lot sizes run from 1 to 10,000 pieces.

Quality checks include fluorescent penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection and X-ray. Dimensional controls use a coordinate measuring machine, a FARO arm and ZEISS 3D scanning. The company holds Nadcap certificates for non-destructive testing and welding at its Settas and Precimetal sites.

The website shows customers and partners including Airbus, Safran, Thales, Dassault Aviation, Collins Aerospace, Naval Group, Nexter and John Cockerill.
