Aletiq

Aletiq is a French software company that provides a product lifecycle management platform, known as PLM, for manufacturers. Its website describes the platform as a single source of truth for technical data and processes, helping teams reduce the time spent searching for, updating and managing CAD files, drawings, bills of materials, configurations, instructions and other technical data.

What the platform does

Aletiq says it needs only two hours of training per user and about two months to deploy per site, and quotes a 60 percent adoption rate. The company has an information security management system aligned with ISO 27001, secures transfers with HTTPS and encrypts stored data with AES, and replicates software and customer data six times across servers in different geographical regions. Access rights can be configured by account type.

Customers and history

The founders met at engineering school and, after careers in different parts of industry, joined forces in 2019 to build a next-generation PLM platform. After two years of co-development with manufacturers the platform launched officially in 2021, and the company now supports more than 20 customers in sectors that include aeronautics. Customer stories on the site include Horlyne, which went paperless, and MECANO ID, which manages configurations and traceability. A quality and regulatory director at one customer says impact analyses are faster and modification cycle times fell by a factor of three.
